Mikel Valverde

Bio

Artist

Mikel Valverde è nato a Vitoria-Gasteiz, nei Paesi Baschi. Ha pubblicato i suoi primi fumetti su riviste amatoriali e, tra una vignetta e l’altra, si è laureato in Belle arti. Da lì è passato all’illustrazione e poi alla scrittura per bambini e ragazzi, e ha a oggi all’attivo una ventina di titoli. Nel 2005 ha vinto il Premio Internacional de Ilustración Fundación Santa María e, nel 2017, il Premio Euskadi per l’illustrazione.
